Elderly Eureka Woman Killed in Jefferson County Crash
An 8-year-old boy was also in the car with her but received only minor injuries.
Mary Howard, 74, of Eureka, was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 30 in Scottsdale, Mo., yesterday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Howard was traveling south on Rivermont Trail at around 3:30 p.m. when she pulled in the path of a vehicle heading west on Highway 30.
The other car, driven by Angela Snider, 33, of Cedar Hill, then struck Howard's vehicle on its left side. She received minor injuries and was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center.

In the car with Howard was an 8-year-old boy, Christian Howard, also of Eureka, who only suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was taken to St. Athnony's Medical Center by ambulance.
