Boy Scouts Invited to Special Eureka Methodist Service

For all who have been a part of Boy Scout Troop 322 over the past seven decades, a special "reunion" church service is planned for Feb. 5 to honor the historical relationship.

Local Boy Scout Troop 322 familes and the Eureka United Methodist Church have had a long-standing relationship. Official documents indicate the church has sponsored the troop since 1938; but around the church, there are hints the relationship has been going on for longer than that.

Scouting has played an important part in many local boys' lives.

During Sunday, Feb. 5, leaders of both the church and Boy Scout Troop 322 invite any past, present and future scouts to join the 9:30 a.m. service to celebrate this relationship.
