It has been a life-long dream of mine to have my own bookstore and the beginning contents of the store is just a small portion of my own private library. I cannot boast to have read all of the books therein, but most of the authors are favorites of mine. Joe & I live just outside of Eureka with our two cats, Ella & Bella, and spend most of our free time enjoying our six grandchildren and reading... . I do need to thank Wendy Welch, the author of “The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap”, since her book has been the catalyst for finally opening this store. We had the chance to meet Wendy Welch and her husband, Jack Beck, shortly after reading the book and just before opening the store and they’re wonderful people! I plan on being at the store most weekends, so please come by and check us out! I look forward to meeting you soon!
