On the article Flier Tries to Rally Residents Against Proposed U-Gas

ReplyA gas station on Kirkwood Road at Wilson makes far more sense than the Mobil station that's being shoehorned in at Manchester and Geyer. On top of the potential traffic problems, that project forced established local businesses to close. The U-Gas proposal simply repurposes an abandoned parking lot.

ReplyWith all due respect to both Dr. Jotte and Dr. Carpenter, I'd like to point out that both Rand Paul and Howard Dean are practicing physicians as well as politicans, and their positions on health care reform could hardly be more different. Voters need to carefully examine a candidate's specific views and proposals on issues, and not simply accept that skill necessarily translates into good public policy.

ReplyI think this is a great idea. One of the criticisms of local news is that it overlooks a lot of really interesting "small" stories. I think Patch will help Fox 2 find those stories.
