I've not only worked for the YMCA for many years, I also grew up in the Y, learning to swim, going to camp and Camp Lakewood, and belonging to Tri-Hi-Y, a teen program at the time. I believe in the Y's work toward youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. I appreciate the Y's inclusiveness, being for all people. Our sports focus on good sportsmanship over winning. We know that nearly everyone is a health seeker and we provide the support they need to set out and stay on a path of health. What could be better? I've seen the Y help many people grow more confident, connected and secure.

I'm a born and bred St. Louisan who loves just about any outdoor or water activity, nature, reading, and volunteering.
