Two teenagers from Wildwood are accused of throwing a landscaping brick through a car window on Castle Pines Drive in Ballwin, and stealing a radar detector. Dennis Harryvan, 18, of the 800 block of Arbor Chase Drive, and Austin McRoy, 17, of the 700 block of Oak Run, each were charged Friday with first-degree property damage and misdemeanor theft. Harryvan and McRoy live in Wildwood. Ballwin Police said that the two smashed the driver’s side window of a 2003 Kia Spectra with the landscaping brick between 9 p.m. Oct. 12 and 1 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 700 block of Castle Pines Drive. They then stole the radar detector, police said. Ellisville Police arrested the defendants later, and Harryvan and McRoy had the stolen radar detector with them. …

A Wildwood man and two Ballwin men face criminal charges as police said they kicked in an apartment door and stole items Saturday. Florissant Police said the men broke into the apartment Saturday, and took a 47-inch, flat-screen TV and cash from the apartment in the 2100 block of Keeven Lane in Florissant near Koch Park. Three men were charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing: According to a police report, witness statements led officers to the defendants. Two men face criminal charges from vandalizing six vending machines in hotels and businesses in Eureka, Wildwood, Fenton and Mehlville. Jason Herr, 34, of Villa Ridge, and Justin Nevills, 34, of Labadie, both were charged with six counts of stealing and three counts of property damage. Separate charges were filed against Herr Aug. 7 and Aug. 13 while Nevills was charged Aug. 7 and Aug. 9 Police said Herr and Nevills damaged vending machines and stole money from them in several area hotels and businesses between May 3 and June 19: Manchester Police arrested Herr and Nevills June 19. They still had the money from the vending machine theft in Wildwood when arrested, according to the police report. Bond was set at $15,000 each for Herr and …
