District 7 County Councilman Weighs in on Proposed Treetop Park
"We are making sure nothing about the proposed treetop park is rushed," says the council member who directly represents Greensfelder Park in Wildwood, which is the proposed site for the new treetop enterprise.
Greensfelder Park in Wildwood falls under the area represented by St. Louis County Council member Greg Quinn, R-District 7. Consequently, many questions and inquiries are being directed his way since Saturday's information meeting held at the park to address concerns from park users about the ramifications that would result from a new treetop park being placed there. Quinn told Patch on Wednesday that no ordinances or activities were pursued about the treetop park at last night's (Tuesday's) council meeting, other than acknowledging they had received the request from the St. Louis County Parks staff to prepare legislation, typically referred to as "receive and file" items.
