Visitation for this Wildwood resident will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory in Ballwin.
Alfred Poe died Thursday. He resided in Wildwood. He was the husband for 75 years of Frances Poe; father of Charlotte (the late Eric) Fink, Carolyn Frances Howe, and the late Thomas Alfred Poe. He also was grandfather of six, great-grandfather of 15, and great great-grandfather of four. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Schrader Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Wildwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rockwood Bible Church. Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook.

Karen Smith (nee Noblett) died Nov. 7. She was a resident of Wildwood. She was the wife of Allen C. Smith. She was the mother of Adam (Tracie) and Mark (Lauren) Smith, and grandmother of Dana Kelly Smith. She was the sister of Marabeth Ingry Plemmons and Edward, Steven and Alton Noblett, and the daughter of the late Carl Haskell Noblett and Ruth Parrott. She was born and raised in western North Carolina, had a strong Methodist faith, was educated at Blanton's Business College in Asheville, NC. She retired from Monsanto Corporation in 1997. She was an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Graveside services will be held in the spring in western North Carolina. Judith Stout (Nothum), age 67, of Wildwood, died Thursday. She was born Dec. 6, 1944, to the late Andrew and Dorothy Tomich Nothum. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Everett Stout; a son, Clark Everett Stout (Rachel) of Ballwin; and a daughter, Magdalena Cherrier Stout of Ballwin; four grandchildren (Hunter, Ariana, Kailah, and Cole Stout); and two sisters, Marilyn Nothum Sauder of Ranson, WV, and Andrea Nothum of St. Charles. Kathryn McCloskey Houlihan died Monday. The Wildwood resident was 92 years old. She was born on March 14, 1920. “Mack” as she was known to many, was the wife of Joseph P. Houlihan Jr., who died in 2003 after nearly 60 years of marriage. After their retirement in 1979 they resided in Boonville, MO, until returning to Wildwood in 2003, according to the Boonville Daily News. She had a large family, including nine children: Kathleen (Tom) Mooney; Joseph P. Houlihan III; Charlie (Kathy) Houlihan; Julie Ford; Daniel (Tina) Houlihan, Sr.; the late Francis Houlihan; Ruth Elizabeth (Rob) Seabaugh; Maggie Houlihan (John Diller); and Eileen (Marvin) Seward.
