UPDATE: Wildwood Woman's Robbers Still At-Large
After another sweep of the area near Lafayette High School Thursday, police officers still are trying to determine exactly how alleged robbers of a Wildwood woman got into and out of her subdivision.
An armed robbery in Wildwood is a rare event, said Capt. Kenneth Williams, commander of the St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct, regarding a crime that occurred at 12:02 a.m. Thursday at a Wildwood woman's home located on a cul-de-sac at the 2000 block Medicine Bow Drive and Gunnison Gorge Drive, which runs off Clayton Road about 1/4 quarter mile from Lafayette High School.
