POLICE LOG April 8-14: During the last week, Wildwood precinct police took more reports regarding identity theft and fraud. Someone was arrested for possession of cocaine.
Following are recent incidents handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers: April 8 An accident, with injuries, occurred on Manchester Road. An accident happened at Maple Crossing and Fullerton Meadows; no injuries were reported. An identity theft report was taken by officers. A resident's name was used to make an account on which approximately $500 was charged. A window was broken out of a vehicle on Victoria Crossing. April 9 Three identity theft reports were taken. POLICE LOG April 1-7: During the last week, Wildwood precinct police also handled accidents, property destruction reports and the results of road rage incident. Six more fraud reports were taken.
Following are recent incidents handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers: April 1 An accident happened on Balsam Ridge; no injuries resulted. A traffic stop at Missouri Route 100 and Manchester with a passenger resulted in an arrest for possession of marijuana. Another passenger was arrested for outstanding warrants. A destruction of property report was taken on a vehicle parked at the railroad parking lot on Grand. One identity theft was reported. A Wildwood man faces a felony charge after being pulled over for swerving on Westglen Farms Drive near Downey Terrace on March 16. Clint Terrill, 25, of the 18700 block of Hardt Road in Wildwood, was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated (DWI) as a persistent offender. He has two previous DWI convictions, and has another DWI charge pending. St. Louis County Police reported an officer spotted Terrill’s car swerving and almost striking other cars on Westglen Farms Drive at about 1:30 a.m. March 16. The officer pulled Terrill over and noticed a strong odor of alcohol and said Terrill had glassy and bloodshot eyes. March 19 During the course of a routine traffic stop, a person was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at Pierside and Waterside. A person was found staggering down the sidewalk on Westglen Farms, and was transported home and issued a summons for a Minor in Possession of Liquor. A Wildwood man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) early Tuesday morning faces other charges in Cape Girardeau, MO, which include attempting to bite a police officer. Police charged four, different summons.
A 22-year-old Wildwood man who was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) early Tuesday morning faces other charges, including an attempt to bite a police officer. Cape Girardeau Police Department officer Darin Hickey said a vehicle driven by Brandon Gross was observed entering the front yard of a residence in the 500 block of North Sprigg Street at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. Units from the police department and the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety were notified. He said witnesses indicated the driver then drove west. An armed, Wildwood man who claimed to speak Arabic and threatened to shoot truck stop clerks in Missouri Ozarks now faces a Class D felony charge of making a terrorist threat, according to Pulaski County Circuit Court records.
Daniel Mark Lawson, a Wildwood resident living on Old State Road, was charged with a class D felony this week after he drove to the Oasis Truck Plaza in Richland, MO, Sunday, and threatened the truck stop's employees when they wouldn't exchange fuel with him for ammunition he offered. When Lawson walked out of the truck stop, authorities indicated employees placed a 911 call at 3:34 a.m. Lawson then launched a brief standoff with law enforcers when they arrived. Pulaski Sheriff Department's logs report Lawson was barricaded in his vehicle at the truck stop at 3:59 a.m. Deputies requested backup from Waynesville police and two reserve deputies. Despite having a rifle on his lap, Lawson was taken into custody at 4:05 a.m. and arrested …

A Wildwood man punched and kicked another man, breaking his nose and a facial bone, and knocking out teeth at a local bar. Craig M. Gustafson, 38, of the 300 block of Copper Mountain Court in Wildwood, was charged Monday with first-degree assault. St. Louis County Police said Gustafson punched the man in the face, knocking him down Dec. 29 at Larry’s Tavern. Gustafson and another man then repeatedly punched and kicked the man, who had teeth knocked out and suffered a broken nose and a bilateral Le Fort fracture, a broken facial bone that required surgery according to court documents.
