Wildwood Gets New City Marshal
A former St. Louis County police officer was approved as the city's new marshal at Monday evening's city council meeting.
After 11 years as Wildwood city marshal, Bob Warren announced his retirement from the position. Wildwood resident Bill Garrett was appointed as Warren's replacement by Wildwood Mayor Tim Woerther, and approved by city council members at Monday's meeting. Garrett is a consultant who lives on Vintage Oak Drive in Wildwood. He has a bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and is a graduate of the St. Louis County Police Academy. Having lived in Wildwood since 1994, Garrett said he started his police career in West County and Central County police departments, before transferring to Wildwood.
