Take Virtual Tour of New Wildwood City Hall

PHOTO GALLERY: The area's newest city hall building is officially open at 16860 Main Street. It's the place to go for city business, municipal court and Wildwood police services—all under one roof now.

The first Wildwood City Council meeting in the new, permanent city hall building was held on Monday evening. The room was packed at one point, and more chairs were brought in to accommodate attendees. St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers also moved into the new city hall during Tuesday. Photos in this gallery show the new holding cells. To access the new parking lot nestled in back of city hall, drivers should enter at the dead-end intersection of Main Street and Market Avenue. Wildwood City Hall Move Under Way

Remember that Wildwood City Hall is closed during Jan. 28 to 30, due to the move. Although the address of city hall changes to 16860 Main Street, all telephone and fax numbers remain the same as current ones.

Last Wildwood City Council Meeting Held at 183 Plaza Drive

City staffers prepare to move to new City Hall this month. City offices will be closed during Jan. 28 to 30.

By next month, Wildwood city staffers, along with St. Louis County Police Department 6th Precinct officers who service the city, will be headquartered in a new building that combines all of Wildwood's municipal offerings under one roof for the first time in the city's history. A 26,000-square-foot new facility was built on city property located on the south side of Main Street, across from B&B Wildwood 10 Theatres. It includes meeting rooms, city staffers' business offices, a large community room and innovative, environmentally friendly features that meet many industry Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) attributes.
