Projects Worth $6M Approved for Wildwood

Bridges will be replaced, roads will be resurfaced and and major improvements to Missouri Route 109 are planned.

Applications for federal funding worth approximately $6 million recently were approved, Wildwood city engineer Ryan Thomas announced at the July 11 city council meeting. City council members voted to proceed with the following projects: City council member David Geile, Ward 1, asked if Wild Horse Creek Road at the bridge would be widened during the project. Thomas, who also is director of public works for the city, affirmed improved road alignments would be executed in the new projects wherever possible. Thomas said an application for a fourth project, improvements to Route 109 at Pond-Grover Loop Road, also was approved, and will be on the July 25 city council agenda. It would be proper and fair to give attribution to the Obama Administration economic policy for jump starting he economy to this infra structure work. The same thing is happening here in California...Unfortunately the opposition party tries to ruin this program, denigrate it and continues to praise the Bush administration for debt-spending in the futile, nonlegal Iraq war of 10 years.
