St. Louis County Police said officers found Bobby Bird and Kaleb Briggs outside the burglarized house.
Two men were caught in the backyard of a Wildwood home they burglarized Monday, St. Louis County Police said. Bobby Bird, 28, of Wildwood, and Kaleb Briggs, 28, each were charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary and felony theft. St. Louis County Police said Bird and Briggs were arrested in the backyard of a home in the 100 block of Cherry Hills Meadows Drive in Wildwood. Police said they had just left the house at about 1:55 p.m. Monday and had a silver necklace and three gold rings taken from the home. Value of the stolen jewelry was estimated at $1,500. A housekeeper is accused of stealing six pairs of earrings and an antique, silver wine coaster from a Clarkson Valley home in which she worked. Kimberly E. Worthing, 49, of the 2800 block of Moravec Drive in High Ridge, was charged Feb. 27 with felony stealing. Worthing also was charged with a similar theft in Glendale. Glendale Police working on that case said they discovered Worthing sold several earrings, which belonged to the victim in Clarkson Valley, to a jewelry store in Creve Coeur. A High Ridge man burglarized a Wildwood home in early December, and also pawned gold Edward Jones jewelry, St. Louis County Police said. James S. Bright, 25, of the 6200 block of Sunshine Drive in High Ridge, was charged Saturday with second-degree burglary, felony theft and receiving stolen property. St. Louis County Police said Bright broke into a home in the 500 block of Nantucket Pointe Drive in Wildwood between 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Dec. 7. Two teenagers from Wildwood are accused of throwing a landscaping brick through a car window on Castle Pines Drive in Ballwin, and stealing a radar detector. Dennis Harryvan, 18, of the 800 block of Arbor Chase Drive, and Austin McRoy, 17, of the 700 block of Oak Run, each were charged Friday with first-degree property damage and misdemeanor theft. Harryvan and McRoy live in Wildwood. Ballwin Police said that the two smashed the driver’s side window of a 2003 Kia Spectra with the landscaping brick between 9 p.m. Oct. 12 and 1 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 700 block of Castle Pines Drive. A Wildwood man and two Ballwin men face criminal charges as police said they kicked in an apartment door and stole items Saturday. Florissant Police said the men broke into the apartment Saturday, and took a 47-inch, flat-screen TV and cash from the apartment in the 2100 block of Keeven Lane in Florissant near Koch Park. Three men were charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing: According to a police report, witness statements led officers to the defendants. A Eureka man faces criminal charges after police said he nearly struck an officer with his SUV Monday in a Richmond Heights parking garage. The man also faces a burglary charge in Eureka. Brian Rasdall, 32, of the first block of Hawk Hill Drive in Eureka, was charged last Monday with second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. He also was charged Sept. 27 with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing in Eureka. Two men face criminal charges from vandalizing six vending machines in hotels and businesses in Eureka, Wildwood, Fenton and Mehlville. Jason Herr, 34, of Villa Ridge, and Justin Nevills, 34, of Labadie, both were charged with six counts of stealing and three counts of property damage. Separate charges were filed against Herr Aug. 7 and Aug. 13 while Nevills was charged Aug. 7 and Aug. 9 Police said Herr and Nevills damaged vending machines and stole money from them in several area hotels and businesses between May 3 and June 19: Manchester Police arrested Herr and Nevills June 19. David Kilburn, 31, of the 100 block of South Central Avenue in Eureka, was charged Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with stealing a car. Eureka Police said in a report that Kilburn stole a 2005 Kia Spectra near his residence in the 100 block of South Central at about 7:20 p.m. May 3 and wrecked it. Bond was set at $10,000. A Eureka woman was charged last week with burglary and stealing from a Ballwin residence. Mackenzie P. Cox, 21, is accused of entering a home in the 200 block of Oakleigh Woods Drive while the residents were sleeping. She stole an iPod, X-Box, amplifier, camera and weed eater, according to a Ballwin Police report. She previously stole an iPad from the same residence, the report stated. The thefts took place between May 28 and June 6, 2011. Cox admitted to the crimes, according to the police report.
