New Llywelyn's Pub to Ring in New Year in Wildwood

Dierberg’s shopping plaza in Wildwood is slated to offer a new restaurant, touting an Irish-American menu, by the beginning of January.

Llywelyn’s Pub will be opening in Wildwood, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. The newest location will be in Wildwood Town Center/Dierberg’s shopping plaza. The Wildwood location will join five other pubs within the regional franchise located in the Central West End, Soulard, St. Charles, Webster Groves and O’Fallon, MO. There is also a franchise in Kansas City. The newest Llywelyn’s will offer 6,400 square feet of space to kick back with a pint of beer and play darts, or enjoy pub fare with family and friends, according to Sauce Magazine. I'm seriously so excited about this! Wildwood needs a clean, respectable pub. I have loved Llywelyn's for years now and by January I'll finally be old enough to drink there now too! I was sad for my 21st, realizing that there are no good bars in the Wildwood area, but I'm so excited to hear my favorite pub will be a short walk away from my apartment!   more ›

Eureka Specialty Farmers Provide to Posh Restaurant

Niche is based in St. Louis city and is expected to open at Centene Plaza in Clayton in the spring. Eureka-grown produce will be on its menu.

Gerard Craft, an innovative chef and businessman, is taking his restaurant Niche to Centene Plaza in Clayton. And there's a connection to Eureka. While some St. Louis city residents might feel a sense of abandonment—Niche is leaving its original location at 1831 Sidney St. in Benton Park—Craft remains the owner of the building in Benton Park and has no plans to sell: His parents own a condominium above the restaurant space.
