More entities add to reward money for tips that could lead to arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible for murdering Megan Boken, a former Saint Louis University volleyball player killed Saturday in the Central West End of St. Louis.
Megan Boken, 23, a former Saint Louis University (SLU) volleyball player, was shot and killed Saturday afternoon while parked in her car at the intersection of Maryland and North Taylor. Authorities believe she was the victim of a robbery. Police have said there is no evidence to suggest she knew her killer. St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers asked Patch to help inform St. Louis citizens that the reward dollars for tips leading to arrest and/or conviction of Boken's killer have been increasing. Officer Lisa Pisciotta, St. Louis Metro Police Department, said the St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers' program services the entire metropolitan area. She contacted Patch to ask area residents to review the details of the following three cases in particular to determine if anyone knows any elements about them. She said seemingly small details often are helpful clues for progressing such cases. Sheldon Johnson was struck by a vehicle and killed on May 29, 2006, while riding his motorcycle on St. Charles Rock Road at Pennsylvania. Witnesses reported seeing a female driver and three male passengers exit what looked to be a dark-colored Pontiac Grand Prix.
