Anniversary Park Restrooms Finally to be Constructed
One of Wildwood's parks has been really popular through the years, but the porta potties located there, not so much.
Anniversary Park in Wildwood has long-standing—but originally planned to be temporary—portable toilets since the park opened in 2006. Now that's about to change. The $90,000 project for building permanent restrooms at the 13-acre park at 16511 Clayton Road will go out for bids by the end of this month, said Joe Vujnich, Wildwood's director of planning and parks. At the city council meeting held Monday, Vujnich said Planning and Zoning commissioners and the city's Architectural Review Board members approved the location and design of the proposed restrooms, which will provide separate facilities for men and women.
