Saint Louis Zoo Will Hire Part-Time, Seasonal Jobs

Saint Louis Zoo managers will hold a job fair Jan. 19 to hire groundskeepers, catering and food personnel, gift shop attendants and more.

Saint Louis Zoo managers will host a job fair on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in The Living World at the north entrance for those interested in part-time spring, summer and fall employment at the Zoo. Workers are needed for seasonal positions, including: Flexible weekday and weekend positions are available for students aged 15 (work permit required at time of hire) and older, retirees, moms, dads and anyone seeking a seasonal job. The job fair will include information on employment, plus an opportunity for a screening interview. The Zoo offers competitive hourly wages, free employee parking and an ideal working environment. Charter Communications to Hire 100 Employees

Town and Country-based Charter Communications is hosting a job fair Tuesday. The company plans to hire approximately 100 employees at the beginning of 2013.

Charter Communications is hosting a job fair Tuesday, Jan. 8. The company plans to hire approximately 100 employees. Most will work in the call center located in Town and Country Commons, near the intersection of Highway 141 and Clayton Road. The job fair is 11 a.m to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Sheraton Westport Chalet, 191 Westport Plaza in Maryland Heights. As previously reported by Patch, this news comes after Charter's October announcement that the company was relocating its corporate headquarters from Town and Country to Connecticut. At the time of the announcement, Charter also said it would be hiring more call center and local employees. According to Charter spokesperson Jessica Hardecke, the corporate move is now complete. …
