Visitation for this Eureka resident will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Schrader Funeral Home in Eureka.
James Rochat, of Eureka, died Tuesday at the age of 53. He was the son of the late Edward and Inez Rochat. He was the brother of Don (Kristie) Rochat and Ron (Jeanne) Rochat. He was the uncle of April (Joey) Ploetz and Katelyn Rochat. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Schrader Funeral Home, 108 North Central Avenue, in Eureka. Funeral Services will follow there at noon. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Wildwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franklin County Handicap Association or the First Baptist Church of Gray Summit.

Alfred Poe died Thursday. He resided in Wildwood. He was the husband for 75 years of Frances Poe; father of Charlotte (the late Eric) Fink, Carolyn Frances Howe, and the late Thomas Alfred Poe. He also was grandfather of six, great-grandfather of 15, and great great-grandfather of four. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Schrader Funeral Home. Karen Smith (nee Noblett) died Nov. 7. She was a resident of Wildwood. She was the wife of Allen C. Smith. She was the mother of Adam (Tracie) and Mark (Lauren) Smith, and grandmother of Dana Kelly Smith. She was the sister of Marabeth Ingry Plemmons and Edward, Steven and Alton Noblett, and the daughter of the late Carl Haskell Noblett and Ruth Parrott. She was born and raised in western North Carolina, had a strong Methodist faith, was educated at Blanton's Business College in Asheville, NC. She retired from Monsanto Corporation in 1997. She was an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Graveside services will be held in the spring in western North Carolina. He was a member of Gray Summit Baptist Church. He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation. Alta Pratt, age 77, of Wildwood, and formerly of Platte City, MO, died Thursday, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lufkin, TX, and spent her early years in Iraan, Del Rio and Corpus Christi, TX, while her father, a U.S. Marine, served in World War II on the islands of the Southwest Pacific. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to raising her children and caring for her family. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and tending her flowers. She most enjoyed the warmth and love of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Horace B. Pratt, and three children, Cynthia A. Jamie Lynn Huber was born on April 24, 1960, to her mother Sue Morris, in East St. Louis, IL. She died Saturday at the age of 52. She resided in Wildwood. She was the oldest of five children, including sisters Christine, Lisa and Angela, and brother Jim. Some of her lifelong loves grew out of her childhood days. Her love of the outdoors can be found in the many summer days she spent on her grandparent’s farm in rural Eldon, MO. She loved playing with her siblings in the fields, and helping her grandparents with the garden and livestock. Even into adult hood, Jamie could always be found out on the porch or patio, soaking in the sunlight and fresh air.
