Memorial for Karen Smith
Graveside services for this Wildwood resident will be held in the spring in western North Carolina.
Karen Smith (nee Noblett) died Nov. 7. She was a resident of Wildwood. She was the wife of Allen C. Smith. She was the mother of Adam (Tracie) and Mark (Lauren) Smith, and grandmother of Dana Kelly Smith. She was the sister of Marabeth Ingry Plemmons and Edward, Steven and Alton Noblett, and the daughter of the late Carl Haskell Noblett and Ruth Parrott. She was born and raised in western North Carolina, had a strong Methodist faith, was educated at Blanton's Business College in Asheville, NC. She retired from Monsanto Corporation in 1997. She was an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Graveside services will be held in the spring in western North Carolina.
