House Springs Pair Charged in Eagle Bank Robbery

Timothy Threadgill displayed a weapon and demanded money in the Friday morning robbery. He and Georgetta Rice were arrested and charged with robbery. House Springs is 6 miles from Eureka.

Timothy Threadgill, 45, of House Springs, walked into Eagle Bank, located in the 4600 block of Highway MM in House Springs on Nov. 7, indicating he had a weapon and demanded money from a bank teller, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Department police. He then displayed the weapon. Threadgill fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money into a creek bed at the rear of the property. He left the creek bed a short time later and entered a red and white GMC pickup truck that was parked a short distance from the bank and left in an unknown direction, police said. At about 10:40 a.m., sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling east on Highway MM that matched the description of the getaway vehicle. Inside …

Eureka Firefighter in Midst of Gun Brandishing in Fight Near Hwy 141 and Big Bend

Police are still trying to determine what led up to a fight that ended with a gun drawn by a Eureka fireman near Highway 141 and Big Bend Road Friday.

St. Louis County police tell Patch they are investigating after a man broke out a gun to apparently break up a fight in the middle of traffic at the intersection of Highway 141 and Big Bend Road Friday afternoon. Investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the brawl and a gun being brandished, but Manchester Police Chief Tim Walsh tells Patch a fight broke out and a Eureka firefighter pulled out a gun in an apparent attempt to break it up. Officer Randy Vaughn tells Patch police got the call around 3 p.m. Friday of a road rage incident at the intersection.  What's still unclear is what led up to the incident.
