Manchester Road Streetscape Enters Phase 2 in Wildwood
Wildwood city officials encourage drivers and walkers to use caution while traveling through the designated construction areas during a series of million-dollar improvement projects.
A contractor to Wildwood city representatives, J.M. Marschuetz Construction, begun Phase 2 of the Manchester Road Streetscape project, which includes new curbs, sidewalks, street lights, trees and pavement on "Old" Manchester Road from Missouri Route 109 to Eatherton Road. Wildwood director public works and city engineer Ryan Thomas said most of the work over the next two months will involve relocating various utilities that are in conflict with underground drainage structures. "Laclede will be relocating gas lines at various locations, as will Missouri American Water Company," he said.
