The hearing was conducted at Wildwood City Hall. Brett Bennett, Llywelyn's proprietor, requested modifications to the city's C-8 Planned Commercial District No. 1001, which authorizes only two signs on buildings for businesses. Bennett also wanted to erect signs facing the east side of Taylor Road and the north side of Manchester Road. As stated in the notification of this public hearing, the proposed size, height and mounting details of the additional signs did not meet the requirements of the underlying sign …

A new Mexican family grill and cantina will open in Eureka in the former spot occupied by Fortel's Pizza Den.
Geographically speaking, translating "los cabos" from Spanish into English would be "the capes." The term can mean other things, such as "corporal," "rope," "bit or piece," "handle," or "place or position." One translation—"the tips"—seems to fit the best in the case of a new Mexican restaurant slated to open in Eureka. Curt Newsome secured the lease 54 Legends Plaza from the center for what will become Los Cabos Restaurant, according to city records. The space formerly was occupied by Fortel's Pizza Den. Patch has requested more details regarding the time period of the restaurant's opening. This week, the tables and chairs are being unpacked. We got the sweet potato fries, too; really enjoyed the Cajun mayo that accompanied them. It was a great blend with the fries, but not overly spicy. Thanks.   more ›
