Coat Drive Occurs Just in Time

Thanks to Vantage Credit Union and Eureka Police Department for collecting coats for Warners' Winter Warm-up annual drive.

This past week, local temperatures went from 60-degree weather to 29 degrees, reminding all that colder weather truly is approaching. Two Eureka entities served as collection points for the Warners' Warm-up Winter Coat Drive:  Eureka Police Department and Vantage Credit Union.  This year was the 11th annual coat drive, an initative started by NFL football quarterback Kurt Warner and his wife, Brenda, when they lived in St. Louis. Donated coats were collected between Nov. 1 and 14.
