Center for Creative Learning Teacher Dies
Visitation for this teacher of Rockwood School District gifted education students will be Wednesday at Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin.
James "Jay" Walsh, of Ellisville, died Friday. He was 55 years old. He was a teacher of districtwide gifted education fourth and fifth grade students at Rockwood School District's Center for Creative Learning. CCL parents often worked with him in his role as teacher liaison on the CCL PTO board. He was partner to Larry Christison. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the CCL PTO Jay Walsh Scholarship Fund, 265 Old State Road, Ellisville, MO 63021.

My oldest son had Mr. Walsh as one of his teachers at CCL. Our family sends their condolences and prayers to Mr. Walsh's partner and family at this difficult time.   more ›
