POLICE LOG March 4-10: During the last week, Wildwood precinct police also handled another burglary at a home from which $124,000 worth of money and jewelry were stolen. Three other attempted burglaries happened as well.
Following are recent incidences handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers: March 4 An accident occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Rocky Ridge; no injury resulted. March 5 An attempted burglary was made to a home on Wills Trace. Police received a call from a burglar alarm, and found someone had attempted to kick in a rear basement door. No entry was made, however. During a traffic stop on Jubilee Hill, police found the driver Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). An accident occurred at the intersection of Missouri Routes 109 and 100; no injury resulted. Police responded to an assault at Hidden Valley Ski Resort. I would appreciate the Wildwood Patch being more specific on what a "drug violation" is... tell the citizens the greatest knowledge you have on the subject...thats what a good writer/reporter/journalist should do.   more ›
