Half-Price Smoke Alarms Offered by Monarch Fire Protection District

Residents can contact the Monarch Fire Protection District to schedule free installation as well, but the 600 alarms are being offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Residents within the Monarch Fire Protection District can leverage of a limited supply of half-off smoke alarms being provided by the district. Monarch's House No. 2, at 18424 Wildhorse Creek Rd., services Wildwood residents. The deal is part of an agreement between the district and the Home Depot store in Chesterfield Valley to supply 600 of the hard-wired alarms to residents living within the district for $10.90 each.  The smoke alarms are being offered on a first-come, first-serve basis due to the limited supply. District spokespersons said they will provide installation free of charge, although the appointments need to be pre-scheduled.
