Akin Joins GOP Bus Stop in Valley Park

With the Republican Party finally diverting campaign dollars to U.S. Senate hopeful Todd Akin, R-Wildwood, GOP members appear to be standing behind him in this final weekend before Tuesday's vote. Akin and a fairly large crowd already is gathering at Victory Fieldhouse in Valley Park for the St. Louis portion of the Missouri GOP Bus Tour Stop. For its part, Missouri's Republican party members consistently pledged they would work to help Akin defeat Democratic incumbent Claire McCaskill. Today, as the Missouri GOP’s slate of candidates kicked off a statewide bus tour, the party offered Akin full support.
