Neighborhood Kennel Gets Facelift
Vinroc Kennels in Wildwood gets remodeled, including a new name. Pet health benefits were part of the upgrades and vision.
John and Kristen Madlinger took over Vinroc Kennels from his parents in 2007. Making that decision was easy, John said. "I grew up on this 40-acre property, and I love what I do." The husband and wife team recently upgraded to the new named Frolic Inn. Part of the pet boarding grounds have been leveled, cleared and wrapped in recycled fencing. Fluorescent lighting was replaced throughout the facility, as it changes dogs' behavior. Doors were replaced and painted, an indoor day care area was created, as well as an outdoor park for play time. Solid surface flooring also was an important upgrade for the dogs.
