'Best Fireworks Ever' Planned for Saturday in Eureka

The resources and efforts left over from bypassed Fourth of July fireworks this summer were applied to fireworks scheduled for Eureka Days.

For everyone still pining for the large Fourth of July fireworks that couldn't be conducted this summer in Eureka due to unusually dry and fire-prone environmental conditions, there's good news coming Saturday evening...unless it ironically rains too much, given the current forecast! At approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, a large and extensive fireworks display will be hosted to punctuate Eureka Days. Fireworks are being handled by Lantis Fireworks and Lasers. Eureka Mayor Kevin Coffey said the company really worked on providing an extremely long and enjoyable finale, which should last up to 3 minutes.
