House Springs Pair Charged in Eagle Bank Robbery

Timothy Threadgill displayed a weapon and demanded money in the Friday morning robbery. He and Georgetta Rice were arrested and charged with robbery. House Springs is 6 miles from Eureka.

Timothy Threadgill, 45, of House Springs, walked into Eagle Bank, located in the 4600 block of Highway MM in House Springs on Nov. 7, indicating he had a weapon and demanded money from a bank teller, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Department police. He then displayed the weapon. Threadgill fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money into a creek bed at the rear of the property. He left the creek bed a short time later and entered a red and white GMC pickup truck that was parked a short distance from the bank and left in an unknown direction, police said.
