The Fresh Mex restaurant closed its Ellisville location this week. But for Mexican food enthusiasts, the nearby area has several Mexican options, including one restaurant that just opened last week.
Chevys Fresh Mex said "adios" to Ellisville patrons. The Chevys location, in the Dierbergs shopping plaza at Clarkson and Clayton Roads, closed its doors to operations this week, and appears to have all items marked for an auction. Thanks to Eureka-Wildwood Patch reader Mikel Garrett for cluing Patch in on the unfortunate business closing. For those still looking for a Chevys' fix, locations remain in Olivette; St. Louis Mills; O'Fallon, MO; South County and O'Fallon, IL. The St. Charles Chevys location also is closing by the end of September. However, Eureka and Wildwood diners have several Mexican food options in their backyards. West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce members held an official ribbon cutting Thursday at Chimi's Fresh Mex restaurant in Wildwood.
Nearly 30 fellow business peers met at the new Chimi's Fresh Mex restaurant in Wildwood on Thursday morning to officially christened its location and to welcome the staff to the community through a West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony. Chimi's opened Jan. 17. It is located at 17209 New College Ave. in Wildwood, near the Wildwood Family Y and St. Louis Community College-Wildwood.
