Wildwood Seeks $1.6M Federal, State Funds
Wildwood city leaders have applied for 80 percent of the costs for specified construction projects to be covered through state and federal entities, especially those available through SAFETEA-LU program.
Wildwood city council members recently approved legislation to proceed with trying to secure state and federal funding for 80 percent of the costs of three major projects: Total cost of these projects is estimated at $1,628,000. Wildwood city staff applied to the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, the Missouri Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration for the applicable funding under the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU).
