West County Food Fight Coffee Winner: It's 6 North

Voters in this week's West County Food Fight poll anointed a relative newcomer to the coffee shop scene as their favorite.

6 North Cafe in Ballwin got the top nod from Patch readers who voted in our weekly Food Fight poll this week when we asked for your favorite java joint in West County. When we closed the poll on Friday, the Clayton Road spot in Ballwin had racked up 58.8 percent of the votes among the four finalists that readers nominated early in the week. The other three nominees in the poll were The Wolf Public House, with 16.2 percent of the vote; Kaldi's, with 11.7 percent; and Starbucks, with 13.2 percent (not equal to 100 percent because of rounding). Voting took place from Thursday morning through Friday at 5 p.m. Congratulations, 6 North, and thank you to all who participated in the Food Fight by voting in the poll and leaving comments on the site…

Vote! Coffee Finalists in West County Food Fight

We got a good response when we asked for nominees in our first West County Food Fight. Now, the time has come to vote from among our finalists.

It's time to vote now in the second phase of this week's West County Food Fight. You've given us your nominations. Now, it's time to vote from among the finalists. Who do you think serves the best coffee in West County? Here's who we've picked as the finalists from the nominees on our story and from Facebook. We picked two local places and two chains. So the rest is in your hands now. You'll have till 5 p.m. Friday to vote for your favorite java joint in this Food Fight. We'll announce the winner on Saturday morning.
