As a separate and independent location from the Rockwood School District's Administrative Center, the Annex houses the following district programs and employees: Adult Education and Literacy (AEL)/GED online program; Adult/Youth Sports and Facility Usage; Assessement Department; Data Quality and Continuous Improvement; Educational Equity and Diversity; Before and After School/Summer Enrichment; English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); Fine Arts Department; Guidance/Counseling Department; Health and Physical Education Department; Language Arts and Reading Department; Library/Media Department; Mathematics Department; Practical Arts Department; Professional Development Department; Science Department; and World Languages and ESOL Department.
This building also is the location for the district's Center for Visual and Performing Arts/Spotlight Production; Drug Free Schools; and Partners in Education.
The historic but remodeled gym at the site is used for Rockwood Community Education sports.
