As a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon school and Missouri Department of Education Gold Star School, LaSalle Springs Middle School provides an academic program for high achievers while also offering remediation for students.

Starting with the 2010-2011 school year, the school is offering TutorConnection, a Rockwood program that helps connect certified Rockwood teachers and professionals with parents who are looking for private, fee-based tutoring lessons for their children. The focus is to improve students' knowledge and skill-based performance of the district's curricular concepts.
