Central Baptist Church
Establishing a church during America's 1930s Depression was not easy, but the congregants of Central Baptist met and tackled challenges time and time again during the past decades.
Today, this church strives to reach others in diverse ways, from the Kids of the Cross preschool choir to an emphasis on local residents serving in the military to its weekly Podcasts.
The church's WEE program (Weekly Early Education) is held during morning hours for children who are 3, 4 and 5 years old. In addition, the church offers the AWANA program (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed). It also has programs for teens.
One of the mission outreach efforts involves the Marymount Nursing Care Facility in Eureka.
The church's new gym is an attractive feature.
