When we can go out, we love to go to "our" hometown, feel-good, Cheers-type Applebees (in Eureka). We always sit at the bar (where the bartenders really do know our names). Before long we started getting to know the waitstaff, and now one of the many great chefs there, Josey.
Knowing the food will always be delicious, it really is nice to go to a place where they know your name.
I hope the management keeps up the great work ... GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE AND very reasonable prices ... it's rare these days to get all 3 (... but it does keep bringing us back).

It's billed as "America's favorite neighbor." Applebee's offers lunch and dinner menus featuring steaks, chicken, burgers and other meal options. They also have a healthier, low-cal menu and a great dessert selection. The Eureka location has a full bar and plenty of televisions, making it a great place to watch the big game or get together for an after-work happy hour. The location also has carside service for customers who call in their carryout orders in advance.

Oh my, Applebees in Eureka is worse than most others - once in a while we are convinced to go to Applebees because of friends or special events - every time I regret it. Food is blah, atmosphere is loud and awful.
