Wildwood Family YMCA 7th Annual 5K Spirit Run Won by Wildwoodian

With a 7:30 a.m. start time on Sunday in Wildwood Town Center, this Wildwood Family Y-hosted race was a great way to start the morning and it also benefited the community.

Proceeds from the 7th Annual 5K Spirit Run held Sunday from Wildwood Town Center went toward the Y Strong Community Campaign, which is funding set aside to assist families who typically could not afford YMCA monthly membership costs.

Wildwood's director of public works/city engineer and long-distance runner Ryan Thomas won the race with a time of 18:46.

Preregistration was $20 and a $50 family registration for three-plus runners was available. Race T-shirts were free to all participants.
