Help Feed Needy Families, Win Wildwood Gear

By buying a raffle ticket at the Wildwood city tent Saturday at the Founders' Day Celebration, raffle ticket participants will help Circle of Concern feed more people.

A raffle will be hosted by Wildwood Founders' Day for Circle of Concern, an area food pantry headquartered in Valley Park. Circle of Concern assists families in need that live in the , Parkway and Valley Park School Districts.

Each month, this agency feeds more than 1,800 individuals and provides financial assistance to families on a case-by-case basis.

Once a month, families go to Circle of Concern and receive a seven- to 10-day supply of fresh food. The goal is that each food order helps the family save money at the grocery store, so they can put their income toward utilities and housing. Money donated allows this agency to purchase food, in addition to the food that is donated.
