Car And Motorcycle Show Coming

All proceeds from the July 23 event, which will be hosted by St. Mark's Lutheran Church, will benefit the Eureka Food Pantry.

Three churches are banding together to benefit the Eureka Food Pantry through a car and motorcycle show, per the approval received from the Eureka board of aldermen Tuesday evening. The show will be hosted July 23 by on the parking lot at 500 Meramec Blvd.

Wes Sir, Ward 1 board of alderman, made the appeal to fellow aldermen on behalf of hopeful organizers at St. Mark's, Eureka United Methodist Church and .

Sir said the rock and roll nostalgia band, Sh-Boom, would be playing. He said they also are looking for other, local bands to play from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Food and beverages served will be hot dogs, brats, soda and water; no alcohol will be included.

He said event participation will be established as a free will offering, with all proceeds going to the Eureka Food Pantry.
