Lost and Found: Two Hikers in Route 66 State Park in Eureka

How well do you know your way around Route 66 State Park?

After two adult hikers got turned around in in late Thursday afternoon, they dialed 911, reports Fox 2 (KTVI) News.

The hikers eventually were located, with helicopter assistance, and escorted to their vehicle.

An early broadcast report about the situation erroneously indicated the two lost hikers were children.

Neither the identities or residences of the hikers were revealed.

The park consists of 419 acres, but the trails are level and handicap accessible.
