The St. Louis Polo Club will host a charity polo match to benefit the Endangered Wolf Center from 3 to 6 p.m. June 15 at the Blue Heron Farms Polo Club, located at 4020 Benne Road in Defiance.
The polo benefit falls on Father’s Day weekend and provides a wonderful way to celebrate.
This will be the second year for this event, and expectations are high that it will be the biggest fundraiser of 2013 for the Endangered Wolf Center, located in Eureka.
You'll get a rare chance to see the thrilling fast-paced sport of polo. There will also be delicious food, an antique car show and lots of activities for kids. General admission is $25 per carload. A select number of VIP tickets are $50 per person, which includes a reserved area with elevated views, catering and complimentary adult beverages for those over age 21.

The Endangered Wolf Center was founded in 1971 by Marlin Perkins, well known for "Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” TV show.
The current Executive Director of the Center is Ginny Busch, who is known for her charitable work with SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, along with extensive contributions in other areas of conservation and animal welfare. "It is an honor to partner with the St. Louis Polo Club for this premiere event. Partnering with our community is at the forefront of our wildlife conservation mission,” Busch said.
