Endangered Wolf Center garage sale

Wolf-related items and memorabilia will be among the many eclectic items available at the Endangered Wolf Center garage sale Saturday, June 1. Entry to the sale is free.

The Endangered Wolf Center will hold a huge garage sale on Saturday, June 1, on its campfire grounds. The sale will run from 8 a.m. to noon.

In addition to an eclectic assortment of garage sale items, this one will feature wolf-related items and memorabilia, including photos and drawings.

Entry is free.

The Endangered Wolf Center is a non-profit and receives no government funding. Any proceeds from the garage sale will be used to further the Center's mission of preserving and protecting endangered Mexican gray wolves, red wolves and other wild canid species. As the garage sale is going on, the Endangered Wolf Center's Celeste Ruwwe Gift Shop will be open, allowing visitors to purchase a wide range of wolf- and wildlife-releated items.

Garage sale visitors will be met at the entry gate, where a staffer will direct them to the campfire site. 

It's puppy season right now, so no public tours will be conducted the day of the garage sale. The Center's evening events resume Wednesday, June 19, with a Grand Reopening Wine & Cheese Wolf Howl. Call 636-938-5900 to register. Daytime tours resume Friday, June 21.

The Endangered Wolf Center is in Eureka, off Exit 269 (Beaumont-Antire Road) of Interstate 44.

If you are coming from the direction of St. Louis, head west on I-44 and go past Highway 141. The next exit is Exit 269. Bear right and stay on the righthand (north) side of the interstate. Turn right where you see the large observation tower, on the grounds of the Tyson Research Center. You'll be at the entry gate, where someone will greet you.

If you are coming from the direction of Eureka, head east on I-44 and go past Lewis Road. Take Exit 269 (Beaumont-Antire Road.) After you exit, turn right and drive over the I-44 overpass. Turn left and then turn right where you see the large observation tower, on the grounds of the Tyson Research Center. You'll be at the entry gate, where someone will greet you.
