19th Annual Backdraft Rodeo

The Eureka Fire Protection District Firefighter's Association is proud to present the Hottest Rodeo of the Year. It's the 19th Annual Backdraft Rodeo.

The first Backdraft Rodeo was held October 13, 1993 and has been a community event ever since. The two shows last about 3 hours each and are filled with family fun and excitement. From the kids actually chasing a calf for a cash prize, to the barrel racing to the ultimate cowboy challenge of bull riding. All competitors are actual cowboys and cowgirls making the rodeo circuit and competing for cash prizes and recognition. The Backdraft Rodeo is a Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association (MRCA) and American Rodeo Cowboy Association (ARCA) sanctioned rodeo.

This year's rodeo will once again be held at Lions Park in Eureka, MO, just 10 minutes west of I-44 and I-270. The rodeo is held at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 7th and Saturday October 8th, 2011.
