Eureka Wrestler Brings Home Fourth Place from State

Matt McClimens, representing Eureka High School, was the last of three local wrestlers who made it the farthest in this annual competition.

During the final matches of the 81st Missouri State Wrestling Championships in Columbia, MO, on Saturday, had just one wrestler left: sophomore Matt McClimens.  He lost to Lee's Summit's Steven Kingsolver at 189 pounds to take fourth place.

The Wildcats team finished 25th in Class 4 with 22 team points.

Also in Class 4, tied for 13th place with 38.5 points.
