Two Eureka Students Named to St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank Student Board of Directors

See which local students were nominated by teachers and chosen by the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank for a special opportunity.

Eureka High School students Savya Hingorani and Nathan Vorel are among a dozen students from the area selected to serve on the inaugural student board of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, according to a Rockwood School District news release. The other Rockwood district representative will be Neil Shah from Marquette High School.

Students will serve as liaisons between St. Louis area schools and the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank officials. The students will meet every other month to learn about and discuss economics and personal finance, and listen to speakers on topics, such as leadership development and career planning.

The students also will compete for two summer internships, according to district sources.
