Photos: Kids, Parents Cut Hair for Cancer Patients

Students and Rockwood teacher Christina Layfield donated hair to children with cancer on Friday at Uthoff Elementary in Fenton.

We told you last week about plans at Rockwood's Uthoff Elementary to join third-grade teacher Christina Layfield in her plans to cut off her hair for child cancer patients. The hair can be used to make wigs for patients who go bald from cancer treatments.

Rockwood's marketing and media information specialist Jay Scherder sent us these photos from the event on Friday at the school, though he wasn't able to get ID's of the people. But they're cute photos!
