League of Women Voters Sponsoring Rockwood Candidates Forum

William Brown of Eureka is one of four candidates for the Rockwood School District board of education, which will have two of its seats determined in the April 3 elections.

and residents will have the chance to hear firsthand from board of education candidates at a forum early next month, district officials announced this week.

The event is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis, and will include four candidates competing for two open seats on the board. Incumbent and recently-appointed incumbent both indicated they would not be seeking election this spring.

  • Sherri Rogers of Chesterfield
  • Victor Hieken of Ellisville
  • Jennifer Kelly of Chesterfield

In addition to questions developed by the League of Women Voters, those in attendance will have the opportunity to pose their own questions to the candidates.

The forum will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at in Ellisville. Elections will take place Tuesday, April 3.
