How Many Mizzou Tigers Are In/Have Played in the NFL?

Tigers have had a strong showing in the NFL, especially since the 1970s.

No doubt, with a 5-7 season, the Mizzou Tigers had a disappointing launch in the Southeast Conference (SEC). The inability to get six wins and earn a birth in a bowl game was painful.

Still, the Tigers have had rich and proud heritage, especially when earning post-season recognition and putting players into the National Football League.

Presently, the Tigers have three quarterbacks on active rosters: Blaine Gabbert, Jacksonville; Brad Smith, Buffalo (QB and wide receiver); and Chase Daniel, New Orleans.

Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia, and Denario Alexander, San Diego, have become two premier receivers in the NFL. Sean Weatherspoon, linebacker for Atlanta, is a key member of the Falcons playoff-team defense.

Two Tigers are enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame, the Chargers Kellen Winslow (1995) and the St. Louis Cardinals Roger Wehrli (2007).

You missed Rick Lyle. He was a defensive end for four NFL teams, the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, NY Jets and the New England Patriots. His last game was the Patriots' Super Bowl win over the Panthers in 2003. He is currently aa assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Cleveland Browns.

Sarah, This feature is about running backs, not any other position. That would be a totally different subject for a different time, including other positions. I was just looking at the running backs from our area.

The owner, of course, should do whatever he/she wishes to do on his own property. I'm simply curiousRead More about Wildwood's Planning and Public Work's "guess." How does farming a piece of property instead of allowing it to sit vacant actually decrease its tax assessments? It doesn't change the zoning. What is the zoning of the property? If residential, how much corn do I need to plant on my extra property to decrease my property assessment?
